There has been a pub on the site since 1454, originally the Chequers and known as The Windmill since the 1780s. Traditional pub that doesn't seem to have changed in decades. A bit more spacious than you would expect from outside, you could say that little effort has been put into the decor, or you could say that it's nicely lived-in. Audible music. Menu is pizza, fish & chips, jacket potato or snacks.
